Tea Cozies

I remember my Nana always had a tea cozy on her teapot that was always sitting on the old rickey kichen table. The teapot was always hot with a brew ready to be poured into the teacups. The minute someone walked through the door they would ask, "anyone want a cup of tea?" That happened many times a day as she had many visitors, mainly all her children and grandchildren. I remember spending a lot of time with her as she taught me to knot from the age of 7. She died only a couple of years ago at the age of 98, only a few days before my birthday. Next to her sitting chair on her needles was a tea cozy she was knitting for me for my birthday. As a way of honouring her and the legacy of knitting she left me, I bring to you Nana & Me Tea Cozies.
